Abstract

Present the steps that make up the thematic workshop "Water: Treatment for human consumption" as a possibility to discuss the study of physical methods of separation of mixtures. In addition to discussing the results obtained during the workshop applications, focusing on the answers of the questionnaire prior knowledge, and in analysis of indicative of the critical capacity development of the students. It was observed that the students had difficulties as contents the mixture separation methods, since few students could accurately the responses of the previous questionnaire. By analyzing the post-workshop questionnaire was noted that the thematic workshop helped build the critical opinion of the students since showed suggestions to the aware use of water.
