Keywords:
East Timor, Ambiental Policy, Science EducationAbstract
The goal of this work is to show an overview on the environmental policy of Timor-Leste and the science teaching in the public schools of this country. The current overview was drawn from observations made in 2012 during a research that made use of questionnaires, interviews, literature studies, and readings official documents. The environmental management and science teaching are grounded in recent years, after having gone through loss of continuity due to periods of domination of East Timor by other countries.
