Synthesis and Characterization of Zn1-xMnxO nanoparticles
Keywords:
Nanoparticles, zinc oxide, magnetizationAbstract
In this work we have synthesized Mn-doped ZnO nanoparticles for different concentrations using the coprecipitation method. X-ray diffraction results added to the Rietveld refinement show the formation of Zn1-xMnxO nanocrystals with sizes of 46 to 58 nm. These results also confirm the only phase isoamorphous to semiconductor host for concentration lower than 10% of Mn. Magnetization measurements as function of field at room temperature for doped samples with 10% of Mn show an increasing in magnetization with the increasing of crystallite size.Downloads
