Cognitive profile of patients with Parkinson's disease

Parkinson's Disease (PD) is characterized as a degenerative, progressive disease of central nervous system that affects mainly the elderly, over 50 years. We can observe classic motor disorders in these patients, as well as cognitive and comportamental impairment. The aim of this study was to describe the cognitive profile in patients with PD and their relationship to the level of education. It was concluded that patients have significant changes to the deficit in PD, and evidenced greater impairment in patients with low or no schooling.Downloads
