Preparing input files for calculations of absorbed fractions in tomographic models (voxels models) with MCNP code

The aim of this work is to describe the structure of a MCNP input file for absorbed fraction (AF) calculations in tomographic models. A very simple tomographic model was developed and a MCNP input file for AF calculations with this model was build. A detailed discussion of the created input file is made, and the main results of the simulation are presented. Starting from the given information, a MCNP user with no previous experience with tomographic models can now couple such a model to the MCNP and perform his/her own AF calculations.Downloads
