Florística e fitossociologia da família Orchidaceae no Centro de Educação Ambiental “Francisco Mendes”, município de Mogi Guaçu, SP, Brasil
Abstract
Although neotropical swamp forests have been thoroughly studied, little information is available aboutorchids ecology in those forestal formations. The objective of this study was to describe the floristiccomposition and the phytosociology of Orchidaceae family in a swamp forest localized in a fragment offorest in the city of Mogi Guaçu, SP. The family Orchidaceae was represented by two species. Thespecies found were Oeceoclades maculata Lindl., and Vanilla planifoia. The phytosociological studiesshowed lower diversity and equitability, where the value found for diversity index was H’= 0,60 bits.ind-1and for the equitability index was J = 0,31. This confirm the decreasing of orchids population in thestudied areas probably due to antropic disturbance, such as the development of urban areas at the local.Downloads
