The study on the morphometry of hydrographic basins provides important information for understanding the environmental dynamics and data that corroborate the monitoring and territorial management. In this sense, this work aimed to obtain and spatialize five morphometric parameters and land use conflict, generating an index that provides subsidies that contribute to land use planning. Therefore, geoprocessing techniques are used to reduce a general morphometric index for the Sorocabuçu River sub-basins, through the integration of morphometric parameters. As a result, it is highlighted that an area of study has physical characteristics that contribute to the triggering of erosive processes and flooding, which can be intensified if they have a disorderly occupation of the soil. In such a way, a morphometric analysis and of the use and aptitude of the soil, fundamental determinants for the information of a better environmental management and zoning of the BHRS through hydrographic sub-basins, the development, and the sustainable development of this region.
