Solid resides of health service: A study of management

The hospital residues, generally, are considered a contaminate agent, harmful to the health human and aggressive to the environment. The objective of the article consists on the proposal of a new pro-active attitude to the destination of hospital solid residues of the HNSO - Hospital Nossa Senhora da Oliveira de Vacaria - RS.. The management is indispensable for the correct final destination of these residues. In this way, the developed study, it focuses the Hospital Residues Health and Service management. This study applies an exploratory research, adopting as a case of study, the theoretical knowlege was based in the study of the solid residues and in the current law for the Program of Management of Residues of Service of Health. Been in compliance with the legislation, brings a great benefit to the society, the environment and for the proper entity that has as objective to minimize the production of residues and to provide a safe guiding to them, proving itself thus, efficient actions of biosafety.Downloads
