Simple liquid nitrogen level controller for use in open cryostat
Keywords:
Liquid nitrogen, cryogenic, flip-flop, Schmidt-TriggerAbstract
In this work, is described the construction of a simple but efficient level controller that operates keeping the level of liquid nitrogen stored in a cryostat between two fixed values. The system operation is based on the great variation of electrical resistivity of copper with respect the temperature and also on the hysteresis of a Schmidt-trigger flip-flop circuit.Downloads
