Faced with the limitations arising from the initial training of teachers and the constant social and technological rearrangements that converge at school, it is necessary to propose continuing education courses for teachers, so that they can improve their knowledge and develop their skills in favor of offering better quality teaching to its students. In view of the above, we tried to identify, in a master’s investigation, the developments of the course Specialization in Media in Education and possible resizing on the pedagogical practice of graduates teachers, regarding the use of media in the process of teaching and learning. This study, of qualitative qualification, had as an instrument of data construction the online questionnaire, with the participation of 32 teachers. The results indicate the constitution of a critical posture on the part of some subjects towards the media, re-elaborating the ways of integrating them in the classroom. These have observed the particularities of each media and articulated its use with the pedagogical objectives they intend to achieve. Nevertheless, some subjects who maintained traditional teaching practices and, as a consequence, use the media only as a tool for the reproduction or transmission of knowledge, disregarding the pedagogical potential that they hold.
