Abstract

The organic compost has been used in the agriculture as a way to use rationally the residues coming from agriculture, livestock, agroindustries. Aimed to analyze the potential of the organic complex originated in the tobacco cultivation, in the production of tree seedlings. The experiment was carried in random blocks of factorial setup, with four treatments and seven repetitions. The were the evaluated treatments: C1- (TF + EB + RB) tobacco stem (85%) composted with bovine manure (15%) and bovine rumen (0, 26%); C2- (TF + EB +MP) tobacco stem (85%) composted with bovine manure (15%) and Microsept-dust (0,13%); C3 - (TF + EB) tobacco stem (85%) composted with bovine manure (15%) only and T4 - the witness containing land of subsoil and bovine manure. The seeds of four native tree essences were seeded in polyethylene bags and irrigated by aspersion. The evaluated factors were: caulis height and diameter, the root length, the number of nodules fresh and dry mass of the aerial parts and root. The result showed that the treatment C1 and C3 promoted higher average value when compared to the control group. The average value obtained about fresh and dry mass of the aerial parts and root were higher to the treatment C1 and C3. The compost obtained with the tobacco residue mixed with bovine rumen and manure and with bovine manure only provided the best effect on the variables growing, fresh and dry mass, in the four studied species tree.
