The socio-spatial analysis involves a reflection socioeconomic and, meanwhile, the prominence, because they leverage the changes occurring in society, in economy and in research, whose goal is to understand the role of publics politics in the transformation of geographical space of the Rosa Elze neighborhood. Located in São Cristóvão/Se city, the such neighborhood is in an area completely detached from itsadministrative headquarters and more connected to the peripheral region of Aracaju, demonstrating higher socioeconomic relationship with the principal city, which has over time influencing the development of the region. Anchored in a model of developmental state, the region's growth has been accompanied by problems of social-economic order and space, where place political power is seen weakened and impotent
in the face of actions mandated by governments, federal and state levels. Allied to this process, it was found that public politics, housing and education, with the construction of housing and installation of campus favored the capitalist real estate market, contributing to the higher density of the area, boosting
the region and providing better access and transport, which does not necessarily mean a better of life quality.
