The Brazilian Olympic boxing has gained national space after the London Olympics, but the morphofunctional characteristics are small examined in literature, which may be stronger for the physical preparation of the athlete. The aim of this study was to identify the anthropometric profile athletes of Olympic boxing center of Balneario Camboriu undergoing dynamic invariant resistance training. The sample was composed of 3 boxers Olympic Center of Excellence South Olympic Boxing , 2 cadets (category 15-16.9 years) , 1 adult (< 17 years). There was conducted evaluation of body weight, height and skinfold (SF) according to protocol and Jackson Pollock and physical tests of resistance strength, speed, and coordination after 5 sessions on dynamic invariant resistance training, 1x per week were performed for 5 weeks and were subsequently collected the same initial data. The results showed increased resistance strength in the upper limbs in flexion of arms, speed and coordination test, anthropometric parameters did not statistically significantly different. It can be concluded to positive resistance training to increase endurance adaptations of strength, speed and coordination, especially the resistance of upper limbs fundamental to boxing performance.Downloads
