Noise may be defined as any unwanted sound can cause disruption; the consequences that it may generate are entirely dependent on the intensity and time of exposure, that is, the longer the exposure to loud noise, the higher the probability of developing hearing loss or reduction. This study aims to measure the impacts extramural produced by an educational institution in the city of Mossoró - RN, to perform it, it was randomly selected, the SENAC (Serviço nacional de Aprendizagem Comercial) school, at Dr. João Marcelino Avenue, 867, Abolição, to do so the collection of noise levels at different distances and terrain vertices was made, moving to establish a perpendicular distance to the edge of the wall. In general, it was noticed that the impacts produced by extramural educational institution vary with distance, there being points at which the influence of the external environment on the institution becomes higher, and being justified on the basis of the same is located in an area where there is a high flow of vehicles. However, the adjusted models to estimate parameters of natural attenuation were not adequate.Downloads
