Inoculation with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) can enhance fertilization, it is the factor that can most affect the efficiency of AMF. The objective was to study the influence of AMF, Glomus etunicatum, the initial growth of seedlings of sabiá (Mimosa caesalpiniaefolia Benth.) dosed phosphorus as substrate soil of low fertility. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at the Universidade Federal do Piauí in the months of September to November 2011. The experimental design was completely randomized in factorial scheme 3x4 with three conditions of soil (natural soil, autoclaved and autoclaved inoculated with AMF) and four P rates (0, 60, 120 and 240 mg dm-3 P) with 4 replicates. The parameters evaluated were length of shoots (CA), stem diameter (AD), the length of the shoot stem diameter (AC / DC) and leaf number (NF). The AMF inoculation promoted significance for AC, DC and NC. The dose of 60 mg dm-3 promotes growth for AC, DC and NC. It is concluded that inoculation with Glomus etunicatum promotes an increase in the initial growth of seedlings of thrush and the dose of 60 mg P dm-3 is sufficient to meet the initial growth of seedlings of sabiá.Downloads
