Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of increasing NaCl concentration on concentration of nutrients and Na in the shoots of seedlings of Eucalyptus camaldulensis. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse in pots with a capacity of 11.5 L, through the nutrient solution in sand. The experimental design was completely randomized, and the treatments were five salinity levels (1.41, 2.50, 4.50, 6.45 and 8.22 dS.m-1) with five repetitions. The seedlings of E. camaldulensis under low NaCl concentration, up to 2.5 dS m-1, prevents the absorption of Na. The seedlings of E. camaldulensis maintain use efficiency for Ca by salinity levels tested.
