The body as a study object of Physical Education: Some brief notes

This text presents the Physical Education inside and starting from an “academic and scientific scenario” to, then, outlines some difficulties related to the body as study object to this area and beyond it. Questions as the snip of the body as an study object; the difficulties of create a concept beyond science; the historical tensions of the split the body - Leib and Körper – as a study object for the Physical Education; and the complex and interdisciplinary nature of the body as object are central themes in this text. Many of the ideas in the text presents questions/historical issues of the body under Physical Education, that can and may be constantly problematized and tensioned to visualize new meanings and possibilities.Downloads
