Abstract

This paper main to analyze the price relations between the brokers in the lettuce grown, looseleaf and crisphead market of Goiânia city in the period form 2004 to 2011. The seasonal indexes were established using the US Bureau of the Census X-12-ARIMA. The lettuce Crespas is more commercialized and the Americana lettuce presenting more market growth. The seasonal indices showed that when rainy season arrives the volume offered lettuce decreases, causing price increase, the opposite is observed in the dry period.
