Lists of Field Control as a Methodology for Biophysical Evaluation of Ambient Systems
Keywords:
Lists of field control, biophysical evaluation, ambient systemsAbstract
The method of studying used in the research is based on the creation of control field checklists establishedaccording to the adaptation of the Program ELOISE/DUNES of the European Union, aiming to evaluatethe conditions that produce acceleration in the degradation rhythm of the environmental systems. Thechecklists are organized based in the selection of 46 variable, all divided in five sections that comprehendinformation about the dune site and morphology, the characteristics of the beach, the characteristics of thedune surface in the first 200 meters, to the pressures of use and the measures of recent protection. Theapplication of checklists takes place by means of field registering made by observers selected from thecriterion of having common and specific knowledge on subjects referring to the research, allowing thebiophysical evaluation of ambient systems through the biophysical factors (sections A, B and C) andanthropic factors (sections D and E).Downloads
