Social Representation, Police and Violence: A Study About the Police Violence

The fundamental objective of this research is analyzes the social representations of the Sergipe militarypolices about police violence. Therefore, this study establishes a comparison with the 1980’context, it aimto verifies if the signs that validated the use of the violence are still presents in polices’ discourses. Thearticulating of the social representations with their objectives social conditions of the class as: origin,scholar, rent, consumption, residential and social space is part of the methodological way of this researchthat uses questionnaires and interviews with intention of the explain the class distinction dynamic in theexercise of the violence for polices.Downloads
