This study aimed to develop a model at determining the optimal quantities of products in mill ethanol production. The model was implemented using GAMS (General Algebraic Modeling System) and contemplating mass balance equations of the ethanol production process involving the steps of milling, treatment and filtration of the broth. It was studied the relationship between the variables of the model and the observed composition of sugarcane and bagasse, and to 150.000 kg h-1 was obtained from cane juice clarified 141.558 kg h-1.Downloads
