Diagnosis of afforestation of public squares in the city Bom Jesus, Piauí

Diagnosis on the public squares arborization in Bom Jesus, Piaui State – Brazil, was analyzed. Vestments in the study were evaluated on quality of afforestation in the five main public squares of the city. To do this, chips were taken to quantify and qualify the individual trees, in which the following parameters were evaluated: plant health, root problem, wiring, leaky area, pantry and advancement longitudinal street, diameter at breast height (DAP), height total height of the first fork and need pruning. Altogether, there were 149 individual trees distributed in 19 species, Azadira chtaindica and Caesalpinia peltophoroides those showing the greatest abundance. Most of the trees assessed were in good phytosanitary conditions.Downloads
