Index yield in cultivars of broccoli branchy type under the management of fertilizer in central Amazonia.

The adoption of management practices, coupled with the choice of cultivars, which translate into better agronomic results are essential to the success and expansion of the vegetable crop activity in the Amazon. In this sense, to support the horticulture in the region evaluated the broccoli productivity levels in the municipality of Presidente Figueiredo, AM, field crop in the 2009/2010 period. The treatments were two broccoli cultivars of. ramoso santana type, and. piracicaba, combined with four levels of fertilization: NPK 4-14-8 + manure, NPK 10-10-10, manure and the witness, arranged in a randomized block in a 2x4 factorial design, with four repetitions. The components evaluated were: yield inflorescences g/plant and number of inflorescences/plant, 5 harvests period. The F test (p <0.05) detected a significant difference only between the corresponding factor crops and sources of fertilization. By regression analysis, it was observed in both cultivars, maximum yield in fresh weight in the 1st crop, and larger number of inflorescences in the 3rd and 4th harvest. In the grouping of means by Tukey test at 5% significance, the results indicated the influence of fertilization source on the productive development of inflorescences. Plants subjected to fertilization with NPK + manure proved to be the best alternative for the production of fresh mass and number of commercial inflorescences, accumulating 0.575 g/plant and up to 10.2 inflorescences/plant. The cultivar ramoso piracicaba demonstrated superiority both in the production of fresh mass and in the number of inflorescences, accumulating 0.593 g and 11.5 inflorescences/plant.Downloads
